welcome    our workshops    contact us

Welcome!
We are Sil and Eliza Reynolds, a mother/daughter team who teach workshops for mothers and their pre-teen and teenage daughters.

We feel that there are few opportunities in our fast-paced culture for mothers and daughters to take time out to nourish their relationship and learn how to respect and understand each other more completely.

Our to mother to daughter logo reflects our belief that no relationship between a mother and her daughter exists in a vacuum, but is also partly the outcome of the past and its legacy for future women and girls in each family continuum. Held in this larger light, mothering and 'daughtering' are tasks and products of the ages, and deserve our care and respect as we adapt to the challenges of each generation and new cultural change. So 'daughter your mother' and 'mother your daughter' well: healing your family's past and ennobling its future depend upon it!

Eliza Reynolds is a student, workshop leader, and certified mediator. She is a leader of her high school's peer counseling group, has completed Planned Parenthood's Safe or Sorry peer educator training, and is a counselor in training for The Adventure Game Theater/Wayfinder Experience. A former editor of Scarlet, an empowering magazine for girls, Reynolds loves to support girls in discovering their positive power, intuition, and inner and outer beauty.

Sil Reynolds, R.N. is a counselor, teacher, workshop leader, and a nurse practitioner in private practice. Specializing in the treatment of eating disorders for 25 years, she has worked with women and girls teaching about healthy body image, healthy sexuality, and the joys of being a woman.

Reynolds is a graduate of Marion Woodman's Body Soul Leadership© training and has been an ongoing advisor to Omega Institute's Women and Power Conference since its inception. She is a consultant to V-Day and also co-created Love Your Tree, an educational project in New York City, which served as a forum for discussion of Eve Ensler's Broadway play The Good Body.

For 10 years, Reynolds assisted and led Geneen Roth's Breaking Free From Emotional Eating workshops across the country. In her private practice, she offers sane solutions for men, women, and children with food, weight, and body image conflicts. She explores these conflicts in relationship to spiritual health, intimacy, cultural dictates, physical health and uses a body/mind approach that incorporates Jungian concepts. She also co-leads a workshop entitled Conscious Feminity: A Women's Retreat for Body and Soul at the Omega Institute.

Sil and her 18-year-old daughter Eliza bring together mothers and daughters in weekend workshops to facilitate communication, initiation and celebration. Please visit the workshops page to learn more.
